Clean Wipes started as a personal journey for me as the founder. I was determined to reduce the amount of chemicals I was using on my skin. Like many, I started by eliminating makeup wipes infused with harsh surfactants and moved on to micellar waters, thinking they’d be gentler. But even those left my skin irritated. I then switched to reusable microfibre cloths, hoping for a better solution. However, as a new mum and busy professional, keeping up with cleaning them properly became a challenge, and I found myself constantly battling breakouts. Not to mention the cost of replacing them every few months. Or the worst part, realising I didn't have any clean and reaching for my germ filled hand or body towel - what was the point of that double cleanse!

It wasn’t until I discovered a special natural fabric that everything changed. This fabric was woven so it gently lifted makeup without pulling or tugging on my skin, was completely biodegradable (WHAT!), and didn’t require harsh chemicals to be effective. On days when I just wanted a fresh clean without the fuss of a full routine, I could even use it with just water. It was a game-changer, and I knew I had to share it.
